Support for Communities, Youth, & Families

About MASS Help

Massachusetts Access to Support Services

MASS Help is a Massachusetts-based community support organization focused on strengthening access to practical, prevention-centered support for children, teens, adults, and families.

Our work is grounded in one core belief: support should be easier to find before people feel alone, overwhelmed, or in crisis.

MASS Help brings together community care, youth connection, family support, education, prevention, wellness, resource navigation, and future health-related access initiatives. The goal is to create programs, partnerships, and community spaces that help people feel supported, connected, and better able to navigate the systems around them.

Our Mission

MASS Help exists to improve access to community-based support through prevention-focused programs, youth and family resources, education, mentoring, wellness initiatives, and resource navigation.

We focus on the gaps people often experience between school, healthcare, mental health care, social services, and everyday community life.

Sometimes support looks like a safe place for a young person to go after school. Sometimes it looks like a family finding the right resource. Sometimes it looks like a teen gaining confidence and purpose through leadership. Sometimes it looks like a parent finally having somewhere to ask for help.

MASS Help is built to make those supports feel more accessible, practical, and connected.

Founder

MASS Help was founded by Victoria Mansfield, a healthcare professional, educator, and community-focused leader with more than 15 years of experience across healthcare, clinical education, teaching, mentoring, student support, business finance, and community support systems.

Victoria’s background has shaped MASS Help’s focus on prevention, access, safety, education, and practical community support.

Her work combines healthcare knowledge, educational leadership, financial planning, and community-centered problem solving to build support systems that are organized, responsible, and accessible.

Support should not be hard to find.

Our Values

Belonging
People need places where they feel seen, included, and valued.

Access
Support should not depend on income, transportation, or ability to pay.

Prevention
Communities are stronger when support starts before crisis.

Youth Purpose
Young people need safe ways to lead, work, teach, help, and build confidence.

Family Support
When families are supported, children and communities are stronger.

Safety
Programs serving children, teens, and families must be structured, supervised, and built with clear safety expectations.

Community
Real support happens when families, schools, businesses, healthcare professionals, volunteers, and neighbors work together.

Building Stronger Support Systems

MASS Help is focused on building practical, community-based support systems that can grow across Massachusetts communities while staying grounded in the same mission: helping people access support before they feel alone, overwhelmed, or in crisis.
